Agricultural workers and members of the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea got together in front of the House of Class Education in Susan-ri of Kangso District in Nampho on May 4 to denounce the extremely frantic acts of anti-DPRK provocation by sworn enemies and vow vengeance against them.

The meeting was attended by Ri Yong Chol, vice-chairman of the UAWK Central Committee, Choe Yong, secretary of the Nampho City Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, officials of the UAWK, other relevant officials and agricultural workers and UAWK members in the district.

Speeches were made there.

Splendid dwelling houses were built in Sangdan-dong of Kusong City, Konbong-ri of Sonchon County, Unha-ri of Unjon County, Posong-ri of Tongnim County and the Chongsu Vegetable Farm in Sakju County, North Phyongan Province.

Meetings for moving into new houses took place on the spot.

They were attended by Kim Kwang Bok, secretary of the North Phyongan Provincial Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, Jong Thae Sop, vice-chairman of the provincial people’s committee, officials of Party and government organs in the province, city and counties, builders, officials of the units which contributed to the construction and agricultural workers who would move into new homes.

Russian political parties and organizations held a joint seminar on the theme of “Strategic consolidation of Russia-DPRK relationship” in Moscow on April 25 to mark the fourth anniversary of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un’s historic visit to the Russian Federation.

Women's union officials and members held a meeting at the Central Class Education House in Pyongyang on May 3 to vow vengeance.

Speeches were made at the meeting, which was attended by Kim Jong Sun, chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Socialist Women’s Union of Korea, women’s union officials and its members in Pyongyang.

Speakers said that the demons, who started a catastrophic war on this land and mercilessly killed innocent Korean women and children over 70 years ago, are now bringing dark clouds of a nuclear war over the Korean people. The open revelation of the scheme to annihilate the DPRK by the US imperialists, the ringleader of aggression and war, is an unpardonable crime  to which no statute of limitations is applicable and for which we should make them pay a thousand times, they added.

Workers and members of the General Federation of Trade Unions of Korea held an indignation meeting in Kaesong, a city along the military demarcation line, on May 3.

The meeting was attended by Pak In Chol, chairman of the GFTUK Central Committee, Kim Kum Ryong, secretary of the Kaesong City Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, trade union officials and workers and TU members in the city.

Speakers stressed that workers and TU members would form worker regiments and divisions and courageously turn out to win an epoch-making victory without fail, if the enemies force a war on this land again, being oblivious of the history of shameful defeats they had suffered at the hands of the Koreans for the past over seventy years.
