Kim Jong Un sends birthday spread to centenarian
Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un sent a birthday spread to centenarian Jon Yong Nyo residing in Kyolsong-dong, Haeju, South Hwanghae Province.
Born into a poor family, Jon was subjected to all sorts of maltreatment and humiliation before the country's liberation. She experienced the bitterness of the statelessness. Only after President Kim Il Sung liberated the country, she could lead a genuine life as the full-fledged member of the country.
She keenly realized that the policies of the Workers’ Party of Korea and the government are all designed for the people's welfare. Out of the single intention to return the favour, she has had all her children serve the army or work at difficult and labor-consuming posts.
She particularly likes bean and potato foods and she lives an optimistic life. She keeps asking her offspring to do more work for the country.
