
A memorial museum of combat feats will be built in Pyongyang, the capital of the DPRK, to pray for the immortality of the admirable war heroes of the DPRK who performed undying feats in the overseas military operations with the ideological and moral superiority, mass heroism, matchless bravery and stamina peculiar to the army of the DPRK absolutely loyal to the leadership of the Workers' Party of Korea.
The combatants of the armed forces of the DPRK made remarkable military achievements and rendered distinguished services in the military operations to liberate Kursk Region of the fraternal Russian Federation at the cost of their blood and lives. These constitute a legend of miraculous victory to be specially recorded in the history of the Juche-oriented army building and the history of the anti-imperialist revolutionary struggle and a great feat which demonstrates the invincibility of the DPRK-Russia relations that were forged and have further been consolidated at the cost of blood and contributes to the existence, development and eternal prosperity of the two countries.

The start of the construction of the sacred hall, a grand monument of the times to bring all honour to the noble soul of the heroic soldiers who devoted their lives without hesitation for the immortality and eternal prosperity of their great state, is a vivid expression of the boundless gratitude and noble moral obligation of the Party, the state and the people to the brave soldiers and serves as a significant political occasion of raising the heroic spirit of the present times to a higher plane.
A groundbreaking ceremony for the building of the Memorial Museum of Combat Feats at the Overseas Military Operations took place solemnly on October 23.
The venue of the ceremony was full of boundless respect for and reverential remembrance of the brave soldiers who displayed the indomitable disposition and fighting spirit of the DPRK army with combat capability unheard of in history.
Present there were Pak Jong Chon, vice-chairman of the WPK Central Military Commission and secretary of the WPK Central Committee, No Kwang Chol, minister of National Defence of the DPRK, Choe Son Hui, foreign minister of the DPRK, other leading officials of the Party, government and armed forces organs, participants in overseas military operations, bereaved families of martyrs, senior officials of ministries and national agencies, commanding officers of large combined units and combined units at all levels of the Korean People's Army, soldier-builders and youth and students.
Also present there were Aleksandr Matsegora, Russian ambassador to the DPRK, and his embassy officials.
