
Thanks to the far-reaching plan of the Central Committee of the great Workers’ Party of Korea for regional development and its energetic leadership, a modern offshore farm and a modern fishermen’s residential district have been built in Ragwon County on the east coast as another monumental edifice in the vibrant era of the most gigantic regional transformation in the history of the country.

Thanks to the spirit of devotedly implementing the Party’s policies and great power of execution of the soldier-builders who have turned out as one, regarding the call of the Party as a battle order, modern and advanced production facilities of the farm, low- and single-storey houses of various styles and neighbourhood-serving amenities have been built in more than 190 days after starting the project in good harmony with the surrounding natural landscape and along with the meaningful name of “Ragwonpho.”

He expressed satisfaction over the fact that a wonderful offshore farm and a fishing village were built in Ragwon County, which is one of the smallest counties in the country and had a weak economic foundation, adding that the county turned into the one with a bright prospect of development and it goes well with the name “Ragwon” (paradise) in the true sense of the word.
