Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un sends flower baskets in honour of CPV martyrs
Kim Jong Un, chairman of the Workers' Party of Korea, chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and commander-in-chief of the armed forces of the DPRK, sent baskets of flowers to the cemetery of the martyrs fallen in the war to resist America and aid Korea in Shenyang City and the monument to the fight to resist America and aid Korea in Dandong City, Liaoning Province, China, on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the entry of the Chinese People's Volunteers into the Korean front.
Ceremonies for laying flower baskets took place on Thursday.
The guards of honour of the Chinese People's Liberation Army lined up at the cemetery and the monument.
The national anthems of the DPRK and the People's Republic of China were played.
Flower baskets bearing the name of Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un were laid at the monument of the cemetery and the monument.
Written on the ribbons of the flower baskets were letters reading, "Martyrs of the Chinese People's Volunteers will be immortal".
Present there were the DPRK ambassador to China and staff members of the DPRK missions, officials of the DPRK working in China and relevant officials of the International Liaison Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, Liaoning Province and Shenyang and Dandong cities.
The participants observed a moment's silence in memory of the martyrs of the Chinese People's Volunteers, and looked round the cemetery and the monument.
