Remains of martyrs buried in Patriotic Martyrs Cemetery in Sinmi-ri

Remains of martyrs were newly buried in the Patriotic Martyrs Cemetery in Sinmi-ri.

They included Kim Chang Sop, former general of the Korean People’s Army, Sin Un Ho, ex-officer of the KPA, Kang Jong Ho, former director of the KPA Art Studio, Jon Hui Jong, former vice-minister of Foreign Affairs, Hong Si Hak, former councillor of the General Bureau of the Tanchon Area Mining Industry, DPRK Hero Ra Myong Hui, Son Chang Gu, former section chief of the Korea General Red Cross Hospital, Pyon Ung Hui, former architectural engineering researcher of the State Academy of Sciences, and Jong Myong Hak and Pak Yun Gwan who dedicated their lives to strengthening and developing the Workers’ Party of Korea.

Ceremonies took place at the Patriotic Martyrs’ Cemetery in Sinmi-ri on December 3-4 to bury their remains.

The participants laid bouquets and flowers at their graves and observed a moment’s silence in memory of them.
