Palestinians out for protest against Israel

Nearly 80 000 Palestinians from all walks of life staged a demonstration on May 8 against Israel’s forced removal moves in East Quds.

Such a largest-scale demonstration occurred to censure Israel authorities, who are trying to forcibly remove the Palestinian residents in the region, claiming their sovereignty over the region.

The Israeli police brutally cracked down upon demonstrators, wounding 64 Palestinians in the end.

Earlier on May 7, there was a protest demonstration of Palestinians around the al-Aqsa mosque.

The Israel police used tear gas and rubber bullets to the clampdown of protesters, with the result that 205 Palestinians got injured.
