Remains of martyrs buried in Patriotic Martyrs Cemetery in Sinmi-ri

Ceremonies took place on September 16 to bury the remains of martyrs in the Patriotic Martyrs Cemetery in Sinmi-ri.

Among newly-buried persons, Jon Ku Gang was the first female general who lived a worthwhile military service life as an officer in the medical field for decades and then as a lecturer of the Victorious Fatherland Liberation War Museum.

Choe Pong Man contributed to the development of the Workers’ Party of Korea while working at the Party Central Committee.

Kang Song San devotedly worked for the country and people while working at important posts of the Party and the government for a long time.

Pak In Yong, former general of the Korean People's Army, made a positive contribution to bolstering up the defence capabilities of the country, and Kim Pyong Hwa, former adviser to the creation department of the National Symphony Orchestra, contributed to the development of the Juche-oriented symphony orchestra by conducting and representing lots of fine work pieces.
