Russian President warns West against posing military threat

Russian President Vladimir Putin made a stand against the West’s military threat at an enlarged meeting of the council of the Foreign Ministry on November 18.

Denouncing the West for overstepping the mark in its military action, he referred to the fact that strategic bombers carrying dangerous weapons are flying in the sky above the place 20 kilometres away from the Russian border.

The West does not heed Russia’s warning about the red line, he said, noting that his country would make Western countries abandon their intention to cause unnecessary disputes on the western borders of Russia.

He asserted that Russia would never look on the intensive military activities of NATO with folded arms.
