Palestinian Prime Minister censures Israel’s moves to expand settlements

The Palestinian premier issued a statement on January 10, denouncing Israel’s moves to expand settlements.

Recently, the Israeli authorities approved a plan for building five Jewish settlements including 3 500-odd blocks of houses in East al Quds, and the statement warned that the action will thwart the international endeavour to speed up the peace process.

The statement stressed that the Palestinian people will not stop the struggle to establish an independent state and regain their freedom and right to self-determination.
