World mean air temperature rises

Last year was the fifth highest year in global mean air temperature in the history of observation.

According to a weather information institution of the EU, the temperature of last year was 1.1-1.2℃ higher than the period between 1850 and 1900 and, as a result, such abnormal weather phenomena as heat waves, forest fires and flood-causing torrential rain occurred in succession in the world.

Meteorologists said that the atmospheric density of carbon dioxide and methane, the causes of global warming, keeps increasing, asserting that it shows no sign of moderation in the future.
