China decries Japan, EU for interference in its internal affairs
A spokesman for the Chinese Foreign Ministry censured Japan and EU for interfering in the internal affairs of China at a routine news briefing on May 13.
He said that they recently insulted China and interfered in its internal affairs to incite confrontation in the region while clamouring for the need to discuss the issue concerning China.
Diaoyu Island and its affiliated islets have been inherent part of the Chinese territory from olden times and no one can change the objective truth that they belong to the Chinese territory, he asserted.
Issues concerning Taiwan, Hong Kong and Xinjiang are also internal affairs of China, he said, stressing that the country will never tolerate any foreign intervention and interference in them.
