 The 2024 winter aesthetic symposium in the field of land and environment protection took place at the Sci-Tech Complex in Pyongyang on February 21.

Present at the symposium held on the theme of "Improving water quality and creating landscape" were Kim Kyong Jun, minister of Land and Environment Protection, and officials, scientists and lecturers in this field and relevant fields.

There was a video show on the successes made in improving water quality and the deviations revealed in the work for protecting water environment.

Speakers explained the ways for raising the self-purification capacity of rivers and lakes and improving the water quality of urban rivers and streams, calling for turning the country into a people's paradise with beautiful and clean environment.
