The 37th sci-tech festival of Kim Chaek University of Technology took place between February 20 and 22.

The festival, divided into seven sections including machine, transport, information, telecommunications, metal and chemistry, was held in the form of sci-tech achievement presentation, display competition among participating units and the exchange of new technologies. The participants presented over 190 pieces of findings to the festival, which can ensure scientific accuracy and effectiveness and prove effective in reality.

The introduction of advanced technology into the production of large-scale compressor, the establishment of pig iron production process based on energy-saving oxygen heat blast furnace and others drew the attention of visitors.
