The Chollima spirit in the new era encourages the Korean people in their struggle for the DPRK’s rejuvenation and development.

Last year, workers of the Ryongsong Machine Complex, a leading machine-building base, performed a miracle, which they could not even think of in ordinary times, in the production of large compressors upholding the decisions set forth at a plenary meeting of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea.

The WPK named their fighting spirit the Chollima spirit in the new era.

Recorded in the DPRK’s proud history of development spanning nearly 80 years is the Chollima era when the Korean people worked the world-startling miracle and feat of having completed socialist industrialization in only 14 years.

The Chollima spirit in the new era is the revolutionary spirit of loyalty, patriotism and self-reliance in the era of overall national rejuvenation, when the Korean people make continuous innovation and uninterrupted leap in the spirit of Chollima while carrying forward the heroic traditions generation after generation and from one century to the next by regarding the trust and expectations of the Party Central Committee as the greatest honour and the most precious treasure.
