Iranian FM spokesman decries US’ and UK’s air raids on Yemen
February 29, 2024A spokesman for the Iranian Foreign Ministry on February 25 strongly censured the US and the UK for their air raids on Sanaa, capital of Yemen.
He branded the US and UK military planes’ air raids as arbitrary actions, a violation of officially recognized international law and regulations and an infringement on the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the country.
The US and the UK, through the air raids, showed again that they support war crimes Israel commits in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank of Palestine, he asserted.
He noted that the US and the UK are trying to divert public attention from Israel’s war crimes and giving it a chance of keeping committing crimes, while escalating the tension and crisis in the region.
