On May 14, the Egyptian foreign minister said that Israel is totally responsible for the humanitarian disaster which Palestinians are suffering from in the Gaza Strip. 

Censuring Israel for finding fault with Egypt in relation with the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, he resolutely rejected Israel’s policy distorting the truth.

He disclosed that Israel seized the Palestinian side’s section of the point of passage to Rafah and is conducting military operations near it, endangering the lives of aid workers and truck drivers and preventing aid materials from being carried in.
