Dwelling houses for hundreds of families have been built on the Thaephyong Farm in Hyangsan County, Jagang Province, this year, too, in the wake of last year.

The modern houses preserve the distinctive features of the mountainous area.

A ceremony for moving into new houses took place on the spot on June 16.

Present there were Han Chil Song, secretary of the Jagang Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, and officials of the Party and power organs, builders and agricultural workers in Hyangsan County. A speech was made.

Then licences for the use of houses were handed over and other speeches were made.

Amid the cheerful dances in different parts of the new villages, officials visited the houses of the farmers to share the pleasure with them.
