The miners of more than ten workteams of the Komdok Mining Complex, who carried out their plans for the first quarter of the year, are continuing to make innovations with the high goal of implementing their national economic plans for the first half of the year ahead of schedule.

While organizing a positive socialist emulation drive for creating 500-metre tunnelling workteam of loyalty and 100 000-ton mining workteam of loyalty, officials of the complex are conducting original information and motivation activities in the workplaces to encourage miners to increase production.

The number of innovators is on the increase as production has been put on a normal track at newly established conveyor transport system No. 9 and conveyor transport tunnel No. 72 amid a vigorous joint innovation drive.

The workers of the Kumgol Mine are in the vanguard of the efforts for increased production.

Members of the Ri Song Il-led Youth Tunnelling Workteam of Discharged Soldiers of the April 5 Pit were the first to execute their tunnelling plan for the first quarter of the year by displaying the indomitable fighting spirit and keep making innovations without resting on  their laurels.

 Miners of the Ko Kyong Chan-led Hero Workteam of the April 5 Pit are cutting large quantities of ore in several stopes by overcoming unfavourable tunnelling conditions, while those of the Pak Thae Son Hero Workteam of the Yonggwang Pit are overfulfilling their daily and ten-day quotas for mineral production through a vigorous campaign for increased production and economy.

The Kim Yong Il-led Mining Workteam of the Undok Pit and other workteams are expanding their successes by introducing different advanced mining methods according to lithological conditions of stopes and drilling angles as they found the way and reserve for increased production in science and technology and technical innovation. 

　The families of the members of the workteams visit their working faces with aid materials to encourage them to increase production.
