Wonsan boiled rice with clam meat has recently become popular as a specialty of Kangwon Province.

 It is a kind of boiled rice dish which is prepared by mixing seasonings like red pepper with the main ingredients, clam and polished rice, and steaming in clam shells.

Clam soup is always used in cooking the dish.
