A week-long film show opened to celebrate April 15 on the occasion of the 113th birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung.

Documentary and revolutionary films dealing with the noble career and immortal exploits of the President who devoted his whole life to the prosperity of the country and well-being of the people, and feature films on various themes will be screened at cinemas and houses of culture across the country during the week-long film show.

An opening ceremony took place at the Pyongyang International Cinema House on April 9.

It was attended by Ju Chang Il, department director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials, creators and artistes in the film sector and other people in Pyongyang.

At the end of the ceremony, the participants watched a documentary film “Father of People”.

Such events took place in all provinces on the same day.
