The 16th Commodity Exhibition at Pyongyang Department Store No. 1 closed. 

A closing ceremony took place at Pyongyang Department Store No. 1 on May 6.

Present there were officials concerned, officials of ministries and national agencies and officials and workers of production and commercial service units.

The speaker at the closing ceremony stressed the need for the officials and workers of the consumer goods production units to produce larger quantities of world-famous quality goods favoured by the people, true to the intention of the Workers' Party of Korea to provide the people with a more affluent and civilized life.

Diplomas and February 2 Products certificates as well as prizes were awarded to excellent units and products at the ceremony.
