The 2025 spring aesthetic symposium in the fields of land and environmental protection and urban management took place at the Sci-Tech Complex in Pyongyang on May 7.

Present at the symposium were officials and scientists in the fields of land and environmental protection and urban management and relevant fields.

The participants watched videos on river improvement and ecological environment.

Speakers referred to the successes made in the work to improve all the rivers to thoroughly prevent damage from floods and preserve the natural scenery in hearty response to the policy of the Workers' Party of Korea on land management and its Juche-oriented idea on aesthetics.

They explained the ways for preventing the pollution of rivers and improving the water quality by actively introducing effective techniques and methods suited to natural and geographical conditions.
