DPRK player Ro Kwang Ryol won the first place in the 2025 Asian Weightlifting Championships.

In the men's 89kg category, Ro Kwang Ryol lifted 212kg in clean and jerk and 380kg in total to take the first place and win gold medals and came second in snatch on May 12.
