Symposium on architectural aesthetics held
May 16, 2025The 17th Symposium on Architectural Aesthetics took place at the Sci-Tech Complex in Pyongyang on May 14 by way of video-conferencing.
Present there were officials concerned and officials and technicians in the fields of construction design, construction inspection, building operation, city management and land and environment protection.
The symposium was held on the theme of "New era of efflorescence of socialist civilization and Juche-oriented architecture". Speeches were made by Kim Kang Chol, head of an office of the National Design Administration, Min Hyon Ju, deputy general director of the National Industrial Design Administration, Ri Il Gon, chief of staff of the Pyongyang Construction Commission, Jo Won Chol, vice-minister of State Construction Control, and Ryang Pong Jin, dean of a faculty of Pyongyang University of Architecture.
They expressed their resolve to lead the development of civilization through a new revolution in construction by fully embodying the Juche-oriented idea and theory of architectural aesthetics of the Workers’ Party of Korea and fulfil their responsibility and duty in the efforts to keep the great golden age of construction going continuously.
