Factory has its eye on full automation
May 18, 2025The Jindallae Mobile Phone Factory is constantly building up its reputation.
Established in 2018, it produces dozens of types of mobile phones, including those using AI technology.
“Our factory set it as the long-term goal to realize full automation of the production line which would raise the proportion of domestic production and guarantee the stabilization of quality control,” said senior engineer Ko Song Bo. “We are concentrating all technical and talent forces to this end.”
The factory produces mobile phones of Jindallae series in various sizes and shapes on the principle of making small quantities of many types of products.
The factory relies on its own technical personnel in the development of operating systems and core technologies as well as the exterior design and circuit design of mobile phones, while steadily upgrading the production and technical processes and striving to bring out popular products with the world competitive edge.
Thanks to their collective effort for improving the quality of products, many processes and facilities have newly been devised and built to be installed into the production line.
Now that the factory’s motherboard element assembly process has been fully automated and the product inspection is done by machines and robots.
The integrated production system of the factory tracks the products to record all data related to them from their “birth” to “death”, including those about which processes they were assembled in, when they were shipped and what kind of repairs they underwent.
Jindallae phones are much sought-after by the customers as they are exquisite in appearance and colour, excellent in quality and easy to use.
Experts say that the development prospects of the factory are bright as it is enjoying a high demand and channelling constant effort into the development of new products.
