The 32nd summit meeting of the League of Arab States took place in Bagdad, Iraq, on May 17.

The meeting discussed the issues of peace and security in the whole Arab world including the Gaza Strip in Palestine, Sudan, Lebanon, Libya and Yemen.

Asserting that the issue of Palestine is the core of the Arab world and the key to regional stability, the participants expressed their full support for the rights of the Palestinians, including the one to found the State of Palestine with East Al-Quds as the capital and based on the boundary line of 1967.

They condemned all illegal measures and acts of Israel targeting the Palestinians.

At the meeting a final statement was adopted to appeal to the international community to immediately stop the war in the Gaza Strip and reject the forced removal of the Palestinians.

Leaders and diplomats of member states of the League of Arab States and delegates of regional and international organizations took part in the summit meeting.
