Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin stressed the role of chemical industry in the development of the national economy in a congratulatory letter sent to the people working in the industry on May 25.

He asserted that the chemical industry plays an important role in developing the key sectors of the economy and ensuring technical independence of the country.

At present, the experts in the chemical industry of Russia are solving many problems such as establishing a modern industry, introducing new technologies and boosting labour productivity, he said, adding the guarantee for carrying out these tasks successfully lies in abundant knowledge and experience and purposefulness.
