Tumangang Railway Station was remodelled and inaugurated.

The completion of the railway station in conformity with its mission as a border gateway station has made it possible to provide passengers with convenience on a high level and contribute to modernizing railways.

An inauguration ceremony took place on the spot on May 28.

Present there were Sin Yong Chol, chief secretary of the Rason Municipal Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Sin Chang Il, chairman of the municipal people's committee, officials in the field of railway transport, employees of Tumangang Railway Station, builders and working people in the municipality.

Minister of Railways Kuk Myong Ho delivered an inaugural address.
