Choe Ryong Hae, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, first vice-president of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and chairman of the Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Assembly, met and had a talk with a group of Koreans in Japan for expressing thanks to the homeland on the 70th anniversary of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon) led by Jong Song Han, chairman of the Hokkaido Metropolitan Headquarters of Chongryon, in a compatriotic atmosphere at the Mansudae Assembly Hall on May 29.
