Love for and devotion to rising generations
June 3, 2025June 1 International Children’s Day, the holiday of our children, is celebrated in the country every year, with its celebrations livening up year after year under the concern of the whole country.
This year, too, colourful events were held in nurseries and kindergartens across the country.
I saw cute little boys and girls giving art performances and playing amusement games full of happiness many times. But whenever the children’s holiday comes, I feel again and again that the policies of the Workers’ Party of Korea and our socialist system are the best.
Since olden times people have said that it takes 50 000 days’ work to raise a child.
Great care should be taken to rear a child, but our Party brings up all children on this land in its bosom.
Everyone knows that they should love and take care of children, but it is never easy to do so.
The respected fatherly Marshal
It is not an empty talk that our Party shows more sincerity for the children in the hard times and vigorously advances towards the future of communism on the strength of this love.
And it is not because the Party and state have no important affairs that the childcare policy was adopted and the supply of uniforms and school things established as a state policy in the plenary meetings of the Party Central Committee.
In our country regional-industry factories are built in 20 counties every year according to the Regional Development 20×10 Policy and the construction of leisure complexes, modern hospitals and grain storage facilities is pushed ahead in parallel. In the capital city of Pyongyang 10 000 flats are built each year and rural villages across the country are turning into socialist ideal villages.
Many important and huge projects are planned and carried out to completely change the looks of the country and improve the living standards of the people. But as the children, the future of the country, are precious, the Eleventh Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea passed the measures again to strengthen the country’s educational infrastructure.
A country can achieve eternal prosperity, only when it gives importance to bringing up the rising generations to be sound mentally and morally and physically strong.
As we did in the past years, we adhere to socialism firmly, build up the national defence capability overcoming all difficulties and continue to build new streets and villages just for the rising generations.
