Branch schools renovated in Kangwon Province
June 6, 2025Kangwon Province presses on with the project to renovate well over a hundred branch schools.
According to an official concerned, the project is part of the nationwide efforts to implement the tasks set forth at the Eleventh Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea.
The plenary meeting clarified that the state would take full responsibility for the supply of school things, school fixtures and educational equipment and materials and provide the educators and students with the best conditions for their work and study.
Paying attention to the renovation of all schools and reducing the gap between towns and rural communities in the education level, the province worked out an ambitious plan to spruce up over a hundred branch schools in it.
In order to finish the project at a high qualitative level the province directed efforts to providing building materials and securing school things, school fixtures and educational equipment and materials.
With the project going full steam ahead, the construction of the Piun branch of Anbyon Primary School in Anbyon County was completed first.
A provincial demonstration was held at the newly-built branch school in April.
The construction of branch schools is gaining speed with it as an occasion.
The province is pushing ahead with the reconstruction of over a dozen branch schools together with the building of over 150 branch schools.
