Vietnam abolishes regulation limiting number of children
June 8, 2025Vietnam has revised its population law.
According to the country’s mass media, the Vietnamese people’s assembly on June 3 approved an amendment to the population law abolishing the regulation which limited the number of children in one family to one or two.
According to the newly revised law, each family can freely decide on the number of children and the time of delivery.
This measure was reportedly taken in connection with the recent decline in the birthrate of the country.
