Kalma Railway Station was wonderfully built and inaugurated in Wonsan City, a modern port city in Kangwon Province of the DPRK.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un made a grand plan to build a characteristic and modern coastal tourist city of Korean style which can be boasted to the world in Myongsasimni, a scenic spot on the shore of the East Sea of Korea. He clearly indicated the orientation and ways for rebuilding Kalma Railway Station and solved all the problems arising in doing so.

The railway station has been built in a distinctive style with waiting halls, an inquiry office and other facilities arranged rationally to ensure the convenience of the travellers to the coastal tourist area at a high level.

An inauguration ceremony took place on the spot on June 11.

Present there were officials of the rail transport sector, builders and employees of Kalma Railway Station.
