As the demonstration, which started in Los Angeles of the US on June 6 in protest against the current administration’s discriminative immigration policy, goes on, protest marches were also staged in Chicago and different other American cities on June 10.

The demonstrators demanded the abolition of the unjust immigration policy, saying that the authorities' sweeping roundup is causing such heart-rending scene of children being separated from their parents.

But the US administration doubled the number of the defense corps dispatched to Los Angeles and additionally mobilized 700 marines in active service in suppressing the demonstrations, insisting that it would further intensify the attacks on those immigrants out for the protest action.

On June 9 alone, more than 100 demonstrators were reportedly arrested by the police.
