The Pyongyang Condiments Factory has full conditions for the cultural and leisure activities of employees.

The factory with harmoniously laid out buildings, welfare facilities and a wide road running through the compound looks like a park for the smart lawns, lots of good species of trees covering the compound and cosy resting places.

Among the sources of pride of the employees, they mention most frequently the Puhung Leisure Complex.

The entrance hall is decorated with a beautiful seascape.

The employees say that the hall gives a refreshing feeling in summer and a warm feeling in winter. The hall leads to an extensive swimming pool and the fresh water glittering in bright lights is very enticing.

The complex has also a music appreciation room where workers can relax as they listen to their favourite music, and a library holding many books as well.

Recently, there was a swimming competition of employees at the complex.

An employee who won an event amid the loud cheers of spectators said that he felt refreshed and invigorated after swimming and that it is now part of daily routine for employees to conduct cultural and leisure activities at the complex.

The leisure complex provides sauna service for 24 hours for the convenience of the employees who work in shifts and therefore hundreds of employees visit the complex a day.

According to an official of the factory, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un on a visit to the factory looked round the complex and expressed his satisfaction that he felt as if he came to a marvellous palace.

Employees of the factory increase production with the pride of working at such an excellent workplace.
