Large-scale anti-NATO demonstration held in Netherlands
June 28, 2025A large-scale demonstration was staged in The Hague, the Netherlands, on June 22 in protest against the war policy of NATO.
The demonstration, which took place on the occasion of a NATO summit to be held in the city, brought together thousands of people, including members of social organizations from more than 20 countries.
Seen in the middle of the demonstrators were the symbols of NATO inscribed in blood colour with “genocide”, “death” and “destruction”, and they contained models of various kinds of weapons including missile.
Demonstrators said that NATO talks about peace and security, but in actuality it conceals its sinister intention to wage many more wars and cause much more destruction to the world.
Expressing indignation over the fact that NATO and its member states keep increasing defence expenditure, although theirs account for more than half of the global military spending, the protesters asserted that residents need dwelling houses and teachers, not tanks and bombs.
They censured the US for using NATO as a tool for further enforcing the policy of aggression in all parts of the world.
