The Croatian president asserted that Western countries should resume dialogue with Russia in order to resolve the Ukrainian crisis in a joint press conference held at the end of the talks with the Slovak president on July 1.

He asserted that Croatia and Slovakia believe that military support to Ukraine can never eliminate the war and that it is impossible to bring down such a nuclear power as Russia.

He stressed that the US and NATO should find a common feature shared with Russia in the stand related to the Ukrainian issue.
