The Mexican president rejected the US’ criticism against her country at a press conference on July 14.

As regards the fact that the ruler of the US recently threatened to impose 30 percent tariff on imports from Mexico from August 1, finding fault with the issue of drug traffic and illegal immigrants, she said that on the contrary it is the US government that should make redoubled efforts in terms of the issue.

The US government should also do what it has to do in its territory in order to settle the issue in the border area, she stressed.
