The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un sent a birthday spread to Yun Sun Hwa, a woman centenarian living in Neighbourhood Unit No. 33 of Naebong-ri in Chongdan County of South Hwanghae Province, on her 100th birthday.

Yun, who received the birthday spread amid the congratulations by officials of the Workers’ Party and power organs in the county and villagers, expressed her deep thanks to Kim Jong Un for showing great loving care to the ordinary old woman who did nothing special for the good of the country.

Born into a poor peasant’s family before Korea’s liberation, she was subjected to all sorts of maltreatment and contempt. She could lead a happy life as master of the land and a dignified citizen of the DPRK only after national liberation.

She had made a contribution to increasing grain production for the country with her sincere efforts for several decades.
