Efforts are being made in the DPRK to carry forward and develop Taekwon-Do, an orthodox martial art of the Korean nation.

The Ministry of Information Industry, Okryu Restaurant and Chongnyu Restaurant are disseminating Taekwon-Do among employees while instilling into them the immortal exploits the peerlessly great men performed in developing the orthodox martial art.

The Management Office of the Tower of the Juche Idea and the Arch of Triumph and the Hungnam Metal Works have organized Taekwon-Do games on several occasions and judged them correctly while introducing the exemplary employees in various forms and methods.

Taekwon-Do is widely disseminated at Tangsang Primary School in Mangyongdae District of Pyongyang, Sariwon Primary School for Orphans, Hwangju Middle School for Orphans and Mirae Kindergarten in Phyongchon District, Pyongyang.

In the course of it, many officials, working people, youth, students and children were awarded the Taekwon-Do grades and degrees this year.
