Members of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea and other senior Party, government and military officials, officials of the Party Central Committee, chief secretaries of the provincial Party committees, commanding officers of the large combined units at all levels of the Korean People’s Army and leading officials of ministries and national agencies visited the Fatherland Liberation War historic site and the Jonsung Revolutionary Site on July 25 on the occasion of the 72nd anniversary of the victory in the war.

Going round the historic sites, the visitors recollected with deep emotion the exploits shining with the century of President Kim Il Sung who saved the destiny of the country and people from crisis and firmly defended peace and security of mankind by preventing the disaster of a new world war.

Seeing the holes made by the enemy’s machine-gun bullets on the wall of the office room at the Supreme Headquarters and the unexploded bomb in the vicinity in the Fatherland Liberation War historic site, visitors keenly realized that the most dangerous front during the three years of the war was none other than the Supreme Headquarters and the history of the President’s guidance over the war was the heroic biography of the peerlessly great sage.

At the Jonsung Revolutionary Site, visitors looked round the historic house where the President examined and ratified the document of the Armistice Agreement on July 27 1953. They were full of boundless reverence for the ever-victorious, iron-willed commander and peerlessly great man who brought about the miracle of July 27.
