Celebrations of the 72nd anniversary of the victory in the Fatherland Liberation War will be held with splendour in Pyongyang, the capital of the DPRK, to add to the joy and excitement of the victors greeting the holiday of the great victory in the war, which provided the dignified and powerful country with the immortal glory and honour, as an auspicious event of all the people.

The people in the whole country are extending sincere respect and warm congratulations to the masters of the legendary, heroic era who are glorifying their great pride, honour and noble life as veterans of the victor nation under the great love and benevolence of the Workers' Party of Korea.

The war veterans and persons of wartime merits, who were invited as representatives of the victorious wartime generation to the July 27 celebrations which will fully demonstrate again the immortal soul and spirit of the victors in the great years who created the legend of miraculous war victory and the dignity and prestige and indomitable faith and will of the country and its people that are continuously adding new epic stories to its history as a powerful country, were warmly seen off by the Party and government officials and working people in the relevant areas and their families and relatives.

The masters of the celebrations arrived in Pyongyang by train and bus on July 25.

Cadres of the Central Committee of the WPK warmly greeted them at Pyongyang Railway Station and relevant lodgings.

Pyongyang citizens, youth and students waved their hands to the buses carrying the war veterans and persons of wartime merits to extend their respect to them along the streets.

On the same day, the service personnel of the KPA battery, whom the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un had invited as special guests to the celebrations, also arrived in Pyongyang.
