A poem reciting and singing of agricultural workers and members of the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea "Victory will be won generation after generation" was held at the Jangchon Hall of Culture in Sadong District, Pyongyang, on July 24 in celebration of the 72nd anniversary of the victory in the Fatherland Liberation War.

Present there were Han Jong Hyok, chairman of the Central Committee of the UAWK and officials and members of the union and other agricultural workers in Pyongyang.

The performers highly praised President Kim Il Sung for having performed immortal feats by bringing about victory in the war with his outstanding strategy and tactics and wise leadership and the defenders of the country in the 1950s for having displayed heroic spirit.

Narrative poem "For defence of the country" and songs "Advance and advance" and "Our Supreme Commander" impressively represented the transparent spirit of devotedly defending the leader and the staunch spirit of defending the country displayed by the fighters of the People's Army who devoted their youth and lives without hesitation to the one and only motherland.

Hearing female solo "Victory mill on Jiktong Pass", the audience recollected the spiritual world of the wartime patriotic farmers who ploughed and seeded the fields in the face of the enemies’ gunfire with the faith that they were sure to win victory as they were led by the President.

Some numbers reflected the aspiration of the agricultural workers to uphold and glorify the motherland with proud success of rich harvest by inheriting the fighting spirit of the preceding generations.

The event, which displayed the revolutionary enthusiasm of agricultural workers and members of the agricultural union, ended with choral poems and choruses "We are Koreans" and "Dear father".
