A gala evening of youth and students in Pyongyang took place at Kim Il Sung Square on July 26 to celebrate the 72nd anniversary of the victory in the Fatherland Liberation War.

It began with the song "July 27, Our Victory Day".

Amid the playing of the song, the youth and students danced, forming the letters "July 27" and "Victory".

They danced to the tune of the song "Holiday of Great War Victory", paying high tribute and extending eternal glory to President Kim Il Sung who worked a miracle of winning victory in the war with the Juche-oriented military idea, outstanding strategy and tactics and extraordinary military leadership and defended the dignity and sovereignty of the country.

The atmosphere of the gala was revved up with songs "The People’s Jubilation" and "Your Embrace Is the Best" dealing with the great honour and lasting happiness of holding in high esteem the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un who is demonstrating to the whole world the power and prestige of Juche Korea, ushering in a new era of the greatest and the most dignified power.

Fireworks were displayed in the nocturnal sky over the square full of joy and enthusiasm of the youth.

The gala ended with the song "We Will Defend General Kim Jong Un with Our Lives".
