Russia expanded the list of persons forbidden to enter it in reaction to the sanctions by the European Union.

The Russian Foreign Ministry in a statement issued on July 22 announced that it expanded the list of figures of European countries forbidden to enter the country according to its federal law as a countermeasure against sanctions.

The list reportedly includes the representatives of armed forces organs and state and commercial organizations and citizens of EU member nations and some other Western countries which engage in the provision of military assistance to Ukraine or organize the delivery of dual-purpose goods to the country to destroy the territorial integrity of Russia and block the navigation of Russian vessels in the Baltic Sea.
