Chinese deputy representative says: US should feel shame and humiliation
July 31, 2025The Chinese deputy permanent representative to the United Nations on July 25 asserted that the US should feel shame and humiliation about a series of its words and deeds at the UNSC.
He said that the US insulted China as regards the South China Sea issue and Xinjiang issue on July 22 and 24 and spread a lie about China over the Ukrainian issue on July 25.
The US groundlessly found fault with China at the UNSC in succession in a week, he said, adding that some of its remarks show that the US is not interested in safeguarding international peace and security and promoting political solution to war and conflict but only anxious to make use of opportunities to criticize and pressure other countries and concoct political frame-up.
