A national presentation on wheat cultivation technology and experience took place at the Sci-Tech Complex in Pyongyang on August 5 and 6 through video conferencing under the sponsorship of the Korean Agricultural Technology Association of the Central Committee of the General Federation of Science and Technology of Korea.

Present at the presentation were officials, scientists and technicians of more than 40 units including the Wheat and Barley Research Institute under the Academy of Agricultural Science and Haeju Kim Je Won University of Agriculture.

Submitted to the presentation were more than 90 papers conducive to reaping a good harvest by solving technical problems arising in breeding and introducing high-yielding wheat seeds, fertilizing and exterminating harmful insects.

Highly appreciated were the proposals on the effect of the organic rapid fermentation compound fungi on the growth and yield of wheat and the extermination of diseases in low-yielding fields and the comprehensive nutrient management technology for high-yielding wheat cultivation.

During the presentation, there were technical lectures on high-yielding wheat cultivation.
