A spokesman for the Iranian foreign ministry decried the rashness of Zionists who defiled the Islamic holy land on August 4.

He disclosed that the Israeli authorities spearheaded another profanation of the Al-Aqsa Mosque in East Al-Quds, saying it was a despicable plot geared to continuously aggravating tension in the occupied Palestinian territory.

Saying that Zionists are trying to change the historical position of Al-Quds by desecrating the sanctity of the Islamic holy land, he stressed that the international community must immediately stop the racist and criminal policy of Israel.
