A swimming contest of officials of ministries and national agencies took place at the swimming pool of the Changgwang Health Complex in Pyongyang from August 4 to 7.

The contest brought together more than 800 players from over 90 units. They competed in the team events and men’s and women’s individuals, divided into four groups.

The State Planning Commission, the State Commission of Science and Technology, the Kyonghung Trade Bureau and the Foreign Languages Publishing House took the first place in each group.

Medals were awarded to the players who proved successful in the team events and men's and women's individuals.
